Description
I describe myself as a “people person”. Embedded between natural resource use and conservation, development and livelihoods and the love of nature. I argue for environmental policies that focus on sustainability of landscapes through the development -conservation-livelihood trade-offs. Over the last two decades of my work as a forester, biodiversity enthusiast and environmental governance expert, I see a seamless integration of my career and my passion to work to conserve nature and help people to live in harmony with the environment. My love for nature is my livelihood.
I am dedicated to promoting the idea that we do not have to sacrifice the well-being of Mother Earth to meet our needs. By fostering greater awareness and understanding among individuals, communities, and policymakers, I am committed to advocating for solutions that promote conservation, enhance livelihoods, development and ultimately contribute to the creation of a more sustainable and equitable world for all.
