Benedict Muyale
Description
Benedict Muyale was raised in Kitale, Trans Nzoia and is currently based in Nairobi, Kenya. Benedict is experienced in public and private sector financing for climate and environmental interventions in Kenya.
He has worked on championing sustainable green financing for vulnerable community-based enterprises across various Counties in Kenya. Mr. Muyale holds a first-class degree in Environmental Planning and Management from Kenyatta University, Kenya. Benedict is a recipient of the Conservation Scholarship at African Leadership University where he is pursuing his master’s degree with specialization in conservation. He draws his inspiration from spearheading successful public-private partnership investments such as Africa’s first containerized hydropower plant, which is transforming rural economies and connecting over 3,500 people to affordable clean energy in Murang’a, Kenya.
Additionally, Benedict is passionate about climate change actions and was critical in the inaugural Africa Climate Summit held in Kenya as part of the organizing team. He is a self-motivated leader and a creative problem-solver with a talent for developing practical solutions.
