The proposed Fazao–Malfakassa Conservancy would create a wider conservation and community landscape around Togo’s Fazao–Malfakassa National Park, one of the country’s most important remaining wilderness areas. The concept could integrate surrounding communities, wildlife habitats and productive landscapes through coordinated land-use planning, ecological restoration and conservation enterprise.
